In order to hire 1,200 staff for Durango Casino & Resort ahead of its November 20 opening, Station Casinos is forgoing in-person hiring fairs at the job center and is advertising online supported by an outdoor billboard campaign.

Dubbed by its owners as the showpiece for a “new generation of Station Casinos,” Durango took to Twitter with a recruitment video Monday filmed at the Southwest Las Vegas Valley resort, which is still under construction.
According to KTNV Las Vegas, there are 1,200 available roles across “all levels and in all departments.” Jobs in the 83,000 square feet casino include table games dealers, slot technicians, and race and sport writers for Durango’s “state-of-the-art race and sportsbook.”
An outdoor media campaign hosted on billboards in the Valley is supporting Station’s online hiring drive with giant headlines such as F.O.M.O.O.W.A.D. (Fear Of Missing Out On Working At Durango). KTNV also reported that the third-party restaurants slated for Durango “will begin hiring in the coming weeks.”
