The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has accused four gamblers of carrying out a cheating scheme at The Cosmopolitan casino resort in Las Vegas. The group allegedly won more than $225,000 through dice sliding while playing electronic craps. The incidents took place in November and December 2021.

The accused were playing ‘Azure Roll to Win Electronic Craps’ when supposedly carrying out their scheme. In dice sliding, a shooter slides the dice across a craps table so they don’t roll. This means that the dice will remain in the same position as they began, allowing the shooter to control the game’s outcome.

In this case, the person illegally sliding the dice would give a signal to his accomplices by placing single bets in a circle around the game’s main screen. NGCB investigators believe the group also carried out the scheme at Resorts World around the same time.

After reviewing player cards and surveillance footage, NGCB named the four individuals as Oscar Rodriguez, Max Rappoport, Hau Ngo, and Antcharaporn Kamonlert. The four individuals are all facing numerous cheating-related charges and have a preliminary court hearing on June 1.
